My Prayer

Hello dear friend! This is my prayer for today. My prayer for us as I write my last post is that our focus will be on Jesus. He is the one I want to set my eyes on in 2023 as I am now caring for my husband who has ALS.

Lord, I receive from You,

Your lovingkindness

Your grace

Your peace

Your constant presence

Your help

Your wisdom

Your rest

Your strength

Your joy

Your hope

Your encouragement

Your forgiveness

Your protection

Your acceptance

Your Word

Your sacrifice for my sin

Your empowerment

Your patience

Your endurance

Your salvation

Your freedom

Your truth

Your kindness

Your Son Jesus Christ

Lord, I offer You,

My mind

My body

My heart

My love

My praise

My appreciation

My thoughts

My fears

My failures

My worship

My service

My faith

My song

Myself as a living sacrifice

My trust

My obedience

My brokenness

My pain

My divorce

My mental illness

My possessions

My singleness

My family

You offer me more than what I can offer You. What can I do in return for all You give to me? Nothing is adequate in contrast to Your incomprehensible love and grace. So, I receive all You have given to me, and I give You all that I am. Thank you that I can come to You as a little child and ask for anything in Your name.
